Sections of 44th Avenue and 123rd Street in the Village of Pleasant Prairie have reached the end of their useful lifespan and require resurfacing. These projects are included in the Village’s 2024 Paving Program. Asphalt Contractors will begin pavement pulverization on 44th Avenue in the Pleasant Homes Subdivision on June 14. The following week, pavement removal on 123rd Street will occur.
Vehicles should not park within 20 feet of the edge of the roadways on weekdays to minimize conflicts in the construction areas. No work is scheduled for weekends. Asphalt Contractors plans to complete the resurfacing work on these streets by June 28. This schedule is weather-dependent and subject to change.
