A message on behalf of the Pleasant Prairie Historical Society:

The Pleasant Prairie History Museum Dedication & Fundraiser will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021.

The celebration will be held at the Museum, located at the historic Dublin School, 3875 116th Street in Pleasant Prairie. The Open House and Fundraiser will take place from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with a Dedication and Ribbon Cutting at 3:00 pm.

The event is open to the public and free to enter. Parking is available at the Museum and on 116th Street (carpooling is encouraged). There will be multiple opportunities to financially support the Historical Society at the event.

The Museum features exhibits on Pleasant Prairie’s history. A new exhibit "Her League: Women in Professional Baseball" will be unveiled at the event. A Gallery Talk for this exhibit will take place the following Sunday, August 29th at 1:30 pm.

With the help of hundreds of local businesses and community residents, the Historical Society renovated the 1927 Dublin School and created a local museum for the community. The Society is so thankful and excited to share their collective accomplishments with the community.  In appreciation of the community's support, all attendees will be given a free raffle ticket to win one of two gift baskets.

The Historical Society can be reached at [email protected] or 262-577-5115. Check out the website, PleasantPrairieHistoricalSociety.org, and follow us at Facebook.com/PlPrairieHistoricalSociety.
