As part of the installation of traffic signals at the intersection of Cooper Road and 85th Street, a new style street name sign was placed at the intersection. The new style sign displays the current street name, along with the historical name for the street. As new and replacement street signs throughout the Village are needed, the Village has plans to install additional historical signs.

85th Street, formerly known as Bentz Road, was originally named for property owners living along the road. Descendents of the Bentz family still live along the road today.
