In efforts to maintain a safe driving experience and to maintain a neat and welcoming introduction to our community, Village crews have been mowing medians along State Highways in the Village. Operating under continuing budget constraints, the State of Wisconsin will pay Kenosha County to mow the medians in State Highways only two times this season.

The Village mowed medians along Highway 50 and Highway 31 last year and has continued mowing this Spring. To help keep maintenance costs at a more reasonable level, the work is being completed by seasonal Village employees.
