The Pleasant Prairie Twelfth Night Holiday Tree Bonfire is scheduled for Saturday, January 6. This free event, organized by the Village of Pleasant Prairie in collaboration with the Pleasant Prairie Historical Society and Visit Pleasant Prairie, is open to everyone. Attendees can enjoy hot cocoa, cookies, and marshmallows by the fire while holiday music plays in the background. A sing-along option will be available for interested participants.
Village Administrator Eric Rindfleisch stated, "The Twelfth Night Holiday Tree Bonfire on January 6 extends a warm welcome to everyone. I look forward to seeing area guests and community members participating in the celebration. Remember to dress warmly and bring friends and family to end the holiday season with this unique and joyful community event."
The celebration begins at 5:30 p.m. near the Lake Andrea Wruck Beach Pavilion at 9999 Park Drive in Pleasant Prairie, on the west end of Prairie Springs Park. The highlight of the evening, the ceremonial lighting of the bonfire, is scheduled for approximately 6:00 p.m. and is anticipated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for all attendees.
Residents interested in contributing a holiday tree to the bonfire can drop it off inside the fenced area along Park Drive on the west end of Prairie Springs Park, near Lake Andrea Beach. This initiative provides an opportunity to repurpose live trees and support the community event. Members from the Village of Pleasant Prairie, Pleasant Prairie Historical Society, and Visit Pleasant Prairie look forward to welcoming community members to this year’s Twelfth Night Holiday Tree Bonfire.
