This one-week extension is to allow for completion of water main work in the area. The detour route, which sends drivers to Highway 31, will remain in place until Highway H reopens.

Kenosha County Highway H (88th Avenue) will be closed to through traffic between Highway 50 and Highway 165 in Pleasant Prairie for two weeks beginning Monday, June 3.

This is to allow for roundabout work associated with an ongoing improvement project on Highway H in that area.

The roadway will remain open to drivers who live or work within the construction zone with a single lane of traffic maintained by a flagging operation. There will be a hard closure between the Bain Station Road and Highway C roundabouts. Only first responders and homeowners between the roundabouts will be allowed in this area.

Drivers will be detoured around the closure via Highway 50 (75th Street), Highway 31 (Green Bay Road) and Highway 165 (104th Street).

This work schedule is weather-dependent and is subject to change.
