Police Arrest Five in Shoplifting Investigation

On Saturday, October 28 at approximately 3:30 PM, Pleasant Prairie Police were notified by security personnel at the Pleasant Prairie Premium Outlets of a possible shoplifting occurring at that time. Responding officers began checking with stores at the mall and identified numerous parties involved in shoplifting merchandise from several stores.

During the course of the investigation, officers and mall security staff received additional information and identified five of the suspects from in-store video systems. They also identified the vehicle being used by the suspects. 

In excess of $19,000 in merchandise from sixteen mall stores was located in the suspect’s vehicle. Also located were bags specifically designed to conceal stolen merchandise and to defeat store alarm systems.

The following individuals were arrested and are being held at the Kenosha County Jail pending court appearances:

Ricardo Lee Rosado age 39 of Kenosha, WI; Zaiday Natalie Rendon age 36 of East Elmhurst, NY; Yaid A. Rodriguez age 21 of Berwyn, IL; Paola J. Peralta age 34 of Elmhurst, NY; and Rogelio Pina age 29 of Berwyn, IL.
