Police Continue Missing Person Investigation

On June 10, 2017 the Pleasant Prairie Police Department began an investigation of an individual who was reported missing from his home. 41 year old Michael Wyatt was last seen at his home in Pleasant Prairie by family members on June 7, 2017. 

The investigation into the disappearance of Michael Wyatt has led investigators back to a rural area of Pleasant Prairie where today, a combined effort between the Pleasant Prairie Police Department along with the Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue, the Kenosha County Dive Team and the Pleasant Prairie Public Works will continue the search for information on the disappearance of Michael Wyatt.

The area of the search is located near 47th Avenue and 128th Street. A portion of 47th Avenue from 122nd Street to 128th Street is closed to traffic during this search effort. The Pleasant Prairie Police ask the public to avoid the area until advised otherwise. 

Pleasant Prairie Police emphasize to the public that, based on the investigation to this point, there is no indication of foul play in Michael Wyatt’s disappearance and there is no danger to the general public. Further updates to the public will be provided as the investigation develops.
