Registration is now underway for an Indoor Turkey Triathlon being held at RecPlex on Sunday, November 17. The race consists of a 10-minute swim, a 20-minute spin bike ride, and a 15-minute treadmill run. Scoring is based on total distance, and awards are presented to the overall male and female winners.
“The indoor triathlon is a great way to assess your fitness level in preparation for the outdoor triathlon season,” explained Sandy Wiedmeyer, Fitness Director at RecPlex. “The indoor triathlon is a fun way to both train and compete athletically before it’s warm enough to take training completely outdoors.”
The registration fee for the Indoor Triathlon is $40, RecPlex members receive a $5 discount on their registration fee. Post-race refreshments are provided to participants.
