During a meeting of the Community Development Authority (CDA) and a special meeting of the Pleasant Prairie Village Board, an agreement was approved that will facilitate the conditional transfer of land owned by the CDA to PDD, LLC created by Abbott. Approximately 53 acres of land, adjacent to Interstate 94 will be given to the LLC for wetland preservation and storm water management uses under the agreement. "The property transfer will secure the value that the Community Development Authority anticipated when they declared this property blighted," remarked Mike Pollocoff, Pleasant Prairie Village Administrator.
